Tree Saplings
Although we're called Hedge Nursery, we offer a wide range of tree saplings as well as our core range of hedging plants. We have a lot of options in the winter dormant season for bare roots (November to April but you can pre order from late summer) and a slightly more limited range of cell grown and pot grown tree saplings available all year round. We've also included in this section those species that are often used as hedging but can also be grown as trees.
The planting density shown for some varieties applies where they are used for hedging, but if you are planting as a tree we recommend
- one every 5-10m in a hedgerow
- one every 2-3 sqm in a woodland setting
