Root Ball Hedging

Root ball, rootball, root balled - there are lots of ways to spell this growing method.  We have a helpful advice page on root ball hedging which explains how they are grown.

Our most popular species in this root type are Cherry Laurel root balls, Yew root balls, Portuguese Laurel root balls, Privet root balls, and Western Red Cedar root balls but we have several other species shown on this page which are all available during the dormant months from mid October to early May.  We take pre orders from early Autumn for those looking to plant as soon as they are available - which is a good thing because it gives the roots all winter to settle in/take up moisture before they put on their Spring growth.
