One of the best Dogwood varieties for bright greenish yellow stems, so it is sometimes called Yellow Stemmed Dogwood and sometimes called Green Stemmed Dogwood
We have a number of other Dogwood varieties - red stemmed Cornus alba, orange stemmed Cornus sanguinea and very dark red stemmed Cornus alba Sibirica
Cornus stolonifera Flaviramea is often used in large-scale landscaping schemes to form a thicket, but is also an attractive feature in a garden
Non-native (for a native Dogwood, use Cornus sanguinea)

Suitable for all situations other than very wet soils and very shady sites

Yellow and green medium sized leaves, semi evergreen (most stay on the plants in Winter but some do drop and the Winter appearance is somewhat &quot;thinner&quot; than when the new growth appears in Spring
Very pollution tolerant so a terrific species for urban areas and it is often seen widely planted with every house in a street having a Golden Privet hedge
Non-native but we do also have Wild Privet which is native
Toxic if eaten
Quite fast growing and suitable for all situations other than very wet soils

&amp;nbsp;it&#039;s a dwarf hedging shrub with an upright habit and will not grow above 1m in height
&amp;nbsp;Green Spire in good in almost all soils and situations 
&amp;nbsp;the leaves are dark green, small, glossy with a slightly crinkled edge
&amp;nbsp;Euonymus Green Spire is a low maintenance hedging species, easy to clip and easy to keep to a tight, neat shape

Leaves turn brown in autumn and many are retained on the plant giving good winter cover but not quite as good as an evergreen hedge

 Evergreen
Slow growing so it keeps a neat shape for a long time
Small soft leaves which are easy to trim and ideal for a formal shaped hedge
Good in shady and sunny situations 
Will grow well at the coast and inland
Ideal for low hedges (from 30cm to 1.2m)
Non-native
As one of our most popular hedging plant species we have Box in all root types&amp;nbsp; - bare roots are available in the dormant season (November to April), root balls are available in a slightly extended dormant season (mid October to early May), pot grown, cell grown and instant hedging are available all year round
For those concerned about Box blight or Box moth caterpillar, have a look at Euonymus &#039;Green Spire&#039; which has a very similar appearance and growth habit but without the issues
