A very pretty addition to a country hedge or can be left to grow into a hedgerow tree
Foliage is toxic to livestock and horses 
All these plants are grown in Herefordshire
This species is also suitable to use as a hedgerow tree (planting density 1 every 5-10m) or in woodland creation (planting density 1 every 2-3sqm)
We have this species as a bare root plant in the dormant season (November to April)

One of the best hedging species for shade
Also good in damp soils and at the coast
An easy way to add some evergreen cover into a mixed native hedge
Livestock safe (can be used as livestock feed) but not recommended near horse paddocks
Holly makes a fantastic single species hedge (or a component of a mixed hedge) but these plants can also be grown as individual trees either in a woodland setting or a garden
We have pot grown Holly plants in various sizes all year round
