About our Elder Hedging
Elder hedging is perfect for the cottage garden under a more experienced hand. The Elder hedge produces beautiful creamy flowers in June and July followed by large bunches of juicy elder-berries which are high in Vitamin C and can be cooked and eaten or used to make elder-berry juice cordial or wine. Growing well in most soil types, the Elder hedge is a hardy hedging plant which prefers a sunny position in which to thrive.
