The distinguishing feature of this St Johns-wort is a stout stem with four winged ridges running along its length, hence the common name of square-stalked St Johns-wort, and the more accurate Latin name of Hypericum tetrapterum.
Unlike most common St Johns-worts black dots are rare on the leaves and flowers. The pale yellow flowers are out from July to September.
We sell our Square-Stalked St Johns Wort (Hypericum tetrapterum) seeds per gram; customers should be aware that when ordering more than one gram of Square-Stalked St Johns Wort seeds, the entire amount will be bagged together to reduce unnecessary packaging.
