Certified by the Forest Stewardship Council and 100% peat free this Spruce Ornamental Bark provides your garden with a fantastic mulch and weed suppresant that sets off walkways, ornamental and amenity planting areas.
The benefits of using Ornamental Spruce Bark inlcude:
- Reduced weeding
- Reduced reliance on herbicides and pesticides
- Increased water retention for plants and soils
- Excellent long-term performance
- Excellent mulch to insulate in winter and act as a cooling mechanism in the summer
- Adds structure and nutrients into the soil as it decomposes
- Simple to lay and install with little or no subsequent maintenance
- Provides a clean access path to trees and shrubs for key pruning in the winter months
How to use:
- Ensure the area is thoroughly weede of annual and perennial weeds
- Lay Spruce Ornamental Bark evenly onto freshly cultivated and moist soil once you have completed your planting scheme
- Lay the Spruce Ornamental Bark to a depth of 75-100mm, allow for a settlement of the bark of at least 10 - 15%
- For greatest longevity of the product do not disturb it once it is in place.

Mulch depth at 75mm covers 13.3 m2
Mulch depth at 100mm covers 10 m2
