The Spirea (Spiraea Nipponica Snowmound) is a deciduous, spreading hedge with stout, arching, reddish branches. Small, narrow, dark green leaves set off profuse, dense clusters of small, white flowers in early summer. It has been awarded the Royal Horticultural Society of Great Britain Award of Garden Merit plant.
