Preferred common name: Snowy Mespilus
 Our Royal Horticultural Society Snowy Mespilus (Amelanchier canadensis) also known as Juneberry, is a showy deciduous hedge with leaves opening coppery-red, turning to soft green in summer and then to shades of red, orange and yellow in autumn. The plants are smothered with one inch (2.5cm) wide white flowers in spring and these are followed by red berries.
