Complete Product Information for Shrub Plant Shelter Pack
Shrub Shelter:
A unique design, our shrub shelters offer great value for money whilst still being one of the highest quality and environmentally friendly shelters on the market. The design means that the shrub is fully sheltered and protected throughout the development period but will not have any adverse affects on the growth. Even when the girth of the shrub gets beyond the 8.5cm width of the shelter the excellent design means the shelter will split open, ensuring the shrub does not suffer any restriction.
Weed Suppressant Mat:
Woven Polypropylene Suppressants are far more effective as a mat to aid tree and shrub development. This material not only stops weed development due to it being lightproof but it also allows water to drain through the mat providing the essential moisture the tree and shrubs needs. These mats are also much stronger than plain UVI mats which helps them to resist tearing and blowing free in windy conditions. These Mats have a life expectancy of at least 5 years so will be an effective mat for the trees initial development period.
Wooden Stake:
Four way pointed, pressure treated softwood tree stakes. These high quality wooden stakes are sourced from well managed Baltic forests. Stakes are used to support our range of plastic mesh tree and shrub guards and shrub shelters, or in conjuction with our tree ties for plant support.
