• Extended planting season - they can be planted when you want to plant them, as long as the roots are kept moist. You are not restricted to the bare root season
• Minimal root disturbance - root systems are supplied intact, with no loss of fine feeding roots and root hairs, so once planted they can grow rapidly, not suffering the 'shock' that bare root plants will.
• Uniformity - these plants are more uniform.
• This plant is more suited to the Waters Edge or Wet Meadows than hedgerows, but we love it so much we have included them in the hedgerows section.
• Recommended Planting Distance: 3-5 per metre for a single row or 5-7 per metre for a double staggered row.
