Our Royal Horticultural Society Rosemary Willow (Salix elaeagnos) is a small deciduous hedge with dark brown new growth resembling a rosemary plant. It develops a strongly multi-stemmed, oval-rounded habit. Along the thin, mahogany, coloured twigs in winter are the narrow long leaves. They emerge grey and later turn dark green on top, but remain white beneath.
