The Ribes Sanguineum King Edward VII is a compact, deciduous, upright shrub with small, tubular, deep pink flowers freely borne from mid spring to late spring. It bears aromatic, lobed, obovate, dark green leaves, occasionally followed by rounded, black fruit.
