Benefits
• Overall-- the benefits of potted plants with the price of bare root plants
• Extended planting season - they can be planted when you want to plant them-- as long as the roots are kept moist. You are not restricted to the bare root season
• Minimal root disturbance - root systems are supplied intact-- with no loss of fine feeding roots and root hairs-- so once planted they can grow rapidly-- not suffering the shock that bare root plants will.
• Uniformity - these plants are more uniform.
• This plant is more suited to the Waters Edge or Wet Meadows than hedgerows-- but we love it so much we have included them in the hedgerows section.
• Recommended Planting Distance: 3-5 per metre for a single row or 5-7 per metre for a double staggered row.
NB: Cell Grown Plants are sold in bundles of 120 only. We cannot deliver split bundles. Volume discounts on these plants are substantial.
