Prunus Shirofugen is a strong growing, wide spreading but late flowering cherry tree. Flowers are large double buds with a pink opening to pure white fading to purple-pink, in clusters. The young leaves are copper coloured however as they grow older they take on a green shade however each autumn they will still display red and orange tones. Providing it is planted in free draining soils you can expect an extremely long lasting floral display.
