Prunus Okame is a small bushy upright and arching deciduous tree. The tree holds green summer foliage which turns rich yellow and red during autumn and produces masses of delicate carmine-rose coloured flowers that contrast wonderfully with the sharply toothed leaves. This tree is a lovely early flowering cherry that responds well to pruning if carried out in the summer.
