This stunning Italian clipped and shaped Prunus Lusitanica (Portugal Laurel) ½ Standard, with a 40-50cm diameter looks equally stunning in a pot or in the ground. The Prunus Lusitanica is a beautiful flowering evergreen plant, with dark green foliage. Racemes of white flowers are produced in early summer, followed by red-purple fruits. This product is supplied in a 18 Litre Pot.
Standards are measured by the clear stem, overall height and the diameter of the head of the plant. A full size standard would have a clear stem of 180cm or more, half standards have 80-100cm clear stems. Standards are commonly used to decorate outside doors and to divide areas in the garden.
