PRUNUS laurocerasus `Zabeliana` is a robust and reliable evergreen species which produces white flower spikes in late spring and cherry like red or black fruits in the following months. This plant can be grown as a low, horizontally branched shrub, or if left can develop into a branched tree that will grow in most soils and is shade tolerant. Seed kernels are harmful if eaten.
