Our RHS Premium Prunus laurocerasus Etna is a compact form of the cherry laurel where new growth tinged with red, bronze and orange shades which contrast wonderfully against the more mature and larger dark and glossy green leaves. In spring the plant also produces many spikes of scented white flowers. It is ideal for a low hedge and suits most soils, in sun or shade and if left will develop into a dense deep green foliage bearing tree. Seed kernels harmful if eaten.
