Phyllostachys aurea, grown for its tall canes and graceful foliage. Bright green canes turning yellow with a Zig-zag effect. Best in full sun as this will encourage the stems to develop a more intense golden-yellow colour. If it is planted in shade the stems will turn green in colour. Very popular plant, which can be used for hedging, screening or as a wind-break.
