Complete Product Information for Perfect Autumn Colour: Pack of 8 Trees (8-10cm Girth Bare Root)
Acer freemanii Autumn Blaze: A hybrid of the silver maple and red maple that is reported to have 'traffic stopping' qualities due to the brilliant orange-red foliage it displays during the autumn months. With the brilliance of the red maple and the hardiness of the silver maple, this is a truly beautiful, very fast growing specimen tree. During the summer, the maple is a rich healthy green and can due to its hardy nature, it can be found in almost any climate.

Amelanchier lamarckii: A deciduous large shrub which can be grown as a small tree with a spreading, open habit. This beautiful tree produces a stunning show of colour - the leaves are bronze-pink in spring, green in summer and become a magnificent orange and crimson in Autumn. It has small, star shaped white flowers in Spring which are flushed pink. Dark red berries are produced in July, ripening to black later in the year.

Carpinus Betulus An attractive elm-like deciduous tree, which is native to Europe and Asia. The leaves are alternate and ovate rounded and dark green. In the autumn it will bear striking, yellow-orange long-lasting foliage, the fruit that appear are nut like. They will tolerate urban conditions.

Fraxinus ornus A medium sized tree, which has dark green leaves throughout spring and summer, but during autumn it shows why it is a good choice to provide interest late on in the year. The leaves turn to a rich, dark purple, creating a wonderful display until they fall. Another highlight of this tree is that during the spring, masses of scented creamy white flowers form all over the branches. It has a pyramidal crown, and is fast growing. It reaches a mature height of 15 meters with a spread of the same distance. A hardy tree it is best suited to larger gardens, in a position where it will get full sun.
