Known as a Butter Pear due to excellent texture and lack of grittiness of some varieties, the PEAR Invincible has a good flavour and fruits can be stored until late autumn.
A tough and hardy variety producing heavy crops of good quality fruits every year. Produces two sets of blossom each year, giving a `double` crop, hence the long cropping period, if the frost does not catch the first blossom.
