Complete Product Information for Pack of 4 Trees Suitable for a Small Garden (12-14cm Girth Root Ball)
Magnolia soulangiana lennei A small deciduous tree with a spreading spreading habit, grown for its large, single white, pink, or purplish red, fragrant, cup-shaped flowers on bare stems in spring. Plant in moist, humus-rich soil. Some protection may be needed from late winter frosts. Uses in areas such as Architectural, City, Cottage/Informal, Low Maintenance, Wallside and trellises. Has a maximum mature height of 8 meters.

Malus Evereste: A broadly conical, deciduous tree with lobed leaves, white spring flowers, opening from red buds, followed by yellowish-orange apples. Plant in moderately fertile soil in full sun. Will tolerate partial shade. It will reach a height of 7m and a spread of 6m after 10-20 years.

Malus Rudolph: A small to medium sized tree, columnar in shape when young but develops a more rounded crown as it matures. The tree exhibit’s a number of colourful changes within its leaves throughout the year. When the leaves are young they hold a bronzed purple to red colour however with maturity these shades change to a more bronze green colour. The Rudolphs flowers are also of great interest as deep purple pink buds open into brilliant large rose red flowers which often hide the darker oblong fruits until the leaves fall and the fruits persist. It has a mature height of around 8 meters.

Prunus Tibetica: First introduced to the UK in 1908 from Western China, the Prunus Tibetica, (Tibetan Cherry) is one of the best trees for bark interest. The bark is a wonderful shining mahogany brown, which only gets better as the tree ages. The leaves are narrow and willow like, and during spring small white flowers adorn the branches. A small, fast growing tree Prunus Tibetica has a rounded habit and has a mature height of 5-10 meters, it will do best on well drained but moist soil, in a position where it will get full sun exposure. Due to the small habit of the tree it is suitable for smaller gardens. It was awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit in 2002.
