The Robinia Pseudoacacia is grown for its fragrant, flowering clusters and furrowed black bark. The leaflets are dark green, turning yellow in the autumn. The fragrant, white or pink flowers will grow in long pendant clusters. The flowers are followed by thin, flat brown pods and will stay on the tree throughout the winter. It is a very hardy tree that can withstand difficult growing conditions.
