This is a beautiful deciduous flowering tree, They will require fast draining, well aerated soil. It will produces attractive bark and excellent orange-red autumn colour. The flowers are single and pink they are clustered in 2-4 blooms in mid-spring. The fruits are small black cherries and may be hidden by the foliage.
