Prunus Dulcis, commonly known as an Almond Tree is like all Prunus a lovely looking addition to a garden, the advantage that Prunus Dulcis has over the others trees in the genus is that it once established it bears sweet tasting Almonds. The flowers are identical to other prunus flowers and are either light pink or white. The canopy is spreading and open, often reaching 10-15 foot. It is suited to deep, well draining soil, and for best cropping results it is best to plant at least two.
