 Our Royal Horticultural Society Oval Leaf Privet (Ligustrum ovalifolium) hedge is very hardy semi-evergreen hedge. It tends to keep its leaves better than some of the other privet varieties. The small, oval, bright green leaves provide a very screen. Clusters of white flowers can appear in July, although if the hedge is cut this is unlikley.
Bare root hedging is a very low cost way of planting a hedge, but is only available to buy and plant when dormant (November-March). Orders ahead of 1st November will be stored to guarantee an early delivery date.
