Meadow Fescue (Festuca pratensis) is a perennial which grows between 30 and 120 cm, flowering from June until July. It has a short ligule compared to other grasses, and is an important forage crop. Meadow Fescue is a tall, tufted grass similar to tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea). It grows in meadows, on roadsides, riversides etc. and does well in moist, rich soils.
We sell our Meadow Fescue (Festuca pratensis) seeds per gram; customers should be aware that when ordering more than one gram of Meadow Fescue seeds-- the entire amount will be bagged together to reduce unnecessary packaging.
