Marsh Marigold (Caltha palustris) Pack of 12 Cell Grown 10/20cms

Product Code:  CAPA12

From Only: £15.99 Ex VAT
Or £1.07 Per Plant

Also known as, Marsh marigold, Water cowslip, Kingcup, Water blobs and Moly blobs. This is one of the most rewarding bog plants that can be grown in the garden. In the spring it will produce a profusion of rich yellow blooms. It will also grow well in a rock garden that is kept moist or even a perennial border. The leaves are a dark green and provide a nice contrast for the bright flowers. They can be divided after flowering. `Flore Pleno` will not grow as tall, but will provide double flowers. This plant is often found in the wild in Northern Europe.

Benefits
• Overall, the benefits of potted plants with the price of bare root plants
• Extended planting season - they can be planted when you want to plant them, as long as the roots are kept moist. You are not restricted to the bare root season
• Minimal root disturbance - root systems are supplied intact, with no loss of fine feeding roots and root hairs, so once planted they can grow rapidly, not suffering the 'shock' that bare root plants will.
• Uniformity - these plants are more uniform.
• This plant is more suited to the Waters Edge or Wet Meadows than hedgerows, but we love it so much we have included them in the hedgerows section.
• Recommended Planting Distance: 3-5 per metre for a single row or 5-7 per metre for a double staggered row.

NB: Cell Grown Plants are sold in bundles of 12 only. We cannot deliver split bundles. Volume discounts on these plants are substantial.
