Profusion is a mid-sized, deciduous tree with coppery-red young leaves which turn bronze-green as they mature. Its blossom is red-purple and slightly fragrant and it bears dark-purple fruits in autumn. Plant in moderately fertile, moist, free-draining soil in full sun, although it will tolerate partial shade. It will reach a height of 12m and a spread of 12m after 20-50 years.
