The Liriodendron Tuliplfera (Tulip Tree) is a deciduous tree, It is fast growing with a broadly columnar habit, it will bear dark green lobed leaves that will turn yellow in the autumn. The flowers are borne singly on the ends of the shoots in mid-summer, they are followed by conical, pale brown clusters of fruits. This species will grow poorly in drought situation and alkaline soils. It will needs plenty of room to grow.
