The Hebe odora is a rounded, dense, bushy, evergreen shrub with ovate, glossy, dark green leaves and terminal racemes of white flowers in early to midsummer. A wonderful low growing shrub which produces flowers which are highly attractive to bees and butterflies. Ideal as a compact hedging plant.
Although they tolerate shade, Hebes flower best in full sun, and must have well-drained soil preferably in a sheltered position.
