The Fuchsia magellanica Purple Mountain is a hardy, robust species, ideal for hedging. It has small, mid-green leaves and will flower profusely amd freely throughout the summer months. The flowers are purple stemmed, with bright pink outer petals and purple centres. Will retain a framework of branches through the winter months. Will suit a variety of positions, in sun or part shade, and does best in moist well drained soil. This also makes a very attractive potted plant.
