The Fraxinus Excelsior Jaspidea is a striking cultivar that was found originally in France. It is a vigorous, medium sized deciduous tree, with lush green leaves that develop glorious, long lasting, butter yellow autumn colours in mid to late October. The young branches are an attractive, golden-yellow and are particularly handsome throughout winter. It is a beautiful tree for large gardens and woodland areas.
Suitable for a position in full sun and grows well in most soil including chalk. They are hardy and reasonably tolerant of windy areas, pollution and costal sites.
