Also known as-- Foxglove-- Dead mens bells-- Fairy thimbles-- Ladys gloves-- Witches gloves-- Common foxglove. This perennial is grown as a hardy biennial-- the plants will seeds up to two months before the frost-- The blooms will following in the spring and summer. The purple-pink bell-like flowers are borne in racemes on tall stems-- they have purple spots inside the throat. In the mild climates-- the foliage is evergreen and will forms large-- lush clumps. This plant is often found in the wild in Northern Europe.
