This RHS Premium Cell Grown Douglas Fir(Pseudotsuga Menziesii) forms a crown narrow to broadly conic and produces evergreen foliage yellow-green to dark or even bluish green in colour. The one inch long, blunt tipped needles are also very fragrant. Rather than growing out of the branches and upwards the large brown cones will hand down directly from the branches and are produced every year after 10 years or so of growth. They will need some moisture to perform well and will tolerate wind and shade.
