This stunning Italian clipped and shaped Cryptomeria Japonica Globosa Nana (Japanese Red Cedar) ½ Standard, with a 30-40cm diameter looks equally stunning in a pot or in the ground. The Cryptomeria Japonica Globosa Nana is a evergreen plant, with rich-green foliage and spherical brown-green cones. This product is supplied in a 15 Litre Pot.

Standards are measured by the clear stem, overall height and the diameter of the head of the plant. A full size standard would have a clear stem of 180cm or more, half standards have 80-100cm clear stems. Standards are commonly used to decorate outside doors and to divide areas in the garden.

Trim new growth with sharp shears regularly to maintain shape of plant. Once monthly is normally sufficient. It is important the growth is kept under control and the plant is not allowed to grow out of shape. If this does happen, trim little & regularly to restore.
