CORNUS alba Sibirica is a medium deciduous shrub with is ideal for hedging-- producing a dense thicket of slender red stems-- turning an even brighter crimson during the winter. It also forms ovate leaves with entire margins which turn dark red in autumn. During mid spring small-- flat-- cream flowerheads appear-- followed by bluish-white berries. It has been awarded the RHS award of garden merit.
