The best sour cooking cherry available to grow in the UK, the fruit is perfect for making jams, pies or even alcohol. Notably smaller than the sweet cherries, they are ripe for picking when dark red. Morello has the advantage of being one of the later flowering cherries, often avoiding the spring frosts.
