Our Premium RHS Chaenomeles x superba Knap Hill Scarlet (Japanese flowering Quince) is a tough hardy shrub that will grow in even the worst of garden soils. Its spiny habit can deter unwanted visitors and it produces large-- bright red flowers in spring and summer. Fruits are then produced-- starting green-- turning yellow.

Often used as low hedging-- or as a spreading wall plant.
