Our Premium RHS Chaenomeles superba KnapHill Scarlet (Japanese flowering Quince) is a tough hardy shrub that will grow in even the worst of garden soils. Its spiny habit can deter unwanted visitors and it produces large, bright red flowers in spring and summer. Fruits are then produced, starting green, turning yellow.

Often used as low hedging, or as a spreading wall plant.
