Our Premium RHS Chaenomeles superba Cameo (Japanese flowering Quince) has a spreading growth habit with good ground cover. Blooming a little later than most Quinces-- Cameo produces large-- semidouble flowers of salmon pink with light apple green foliage.
Fruits are generally abundant and highly fragrant-- a bowl full of which is perfect to scent a whole room. Japanese Quince is also used as low informal hedging. Maximum height 1 metre.
