The Box (Buxus Sempervirens) is a hardy, native, evergreen hedging plant with fragrant foliage. Box flowers are yellow appearing in late spring. The very dense growth habit and small, glossy dark leaves with irregular creamy-white margins of the box make it ideal for low formal hedging. It is suitable in any soil, in particular well drained in partial shade. For Hedging, plant young plants just below the nursery soil mark to encourage growth from the base.
Common Box (Buxus Sempervirens) instant hedge is grown in a 70cm trough. The hedge is ready clipped at the sides, so all you need to do is plant and cut the top to the height required. These hedges come direct from the nursery on a pallet. Consequently, the cost savings are dramatic when you purchase in volume as it doesn’t cost us any more to send 10, than it does 1.
