On many urban and rural sites, newly planted trees need protection from vandalism, machinery and animals. In many situations wire mesh guards and other protection methods are not sufficient to effectively protect the tree.
Tree Protectors are the ideal solution to protect semi-mature trees from harmful damage. The Protectors offer protection to the most vulnerable area of the tree, the trunk. The Protectors are made from mild steel and are galvanised, offering increased protection and durability, whilst the round bars and rolled top provide a decorative finish. All protectors are supplied in two parts allowing installation to take place after the tree has been planted. Once the tree has reached maturity and the protector is no longer needed it can easily be removed and re-used. Protectors can be used without grilles where the ground is soft and no hard surface is present.
