The Betula utilis 'Jacquemontii' multi-stem is a very stylish tree, grown for its upright habit and graceful form. The foliage can range from a rich green to dark red or reddish-green. The bark on the trunk is white marked with black and they make a great planting display when planted in a group. The glossy leaves are about 6cms long with a diamond shaped and a tapered point, that yellow in the autumn.

The Betula utilis 'Jacquemontii' is a very popular landscape tree which is grown for its weeping habit and graceful form. Preferring moister soils they are not drought-tolerant and will perform best with a regular watering and feeding. The glossy leaves are about 6cms long with a diamond shaped and a tapered point, that will turn yellow in the autumn.
All birches are prone to aphids, bronze birch borers and birch leaf-miners.
