Our RHS Premium Berberis Thunbergii Helmond Pillar is a mid-sized deciduous shrub with upright stems bearing red-purple leaves that turn brighter red in autumn. It bears small, yellow flowers and has red berries in autumn. Plant in any soil in a sunny or partially shaded position - preferably sunny for best fruits and autumn colour. Ideal as low maintenance hedging / screening. This plant is toxic and may cause stomach upsets if ingested.
