The Amelanchier grandiflora is a small upright deciduous June Berry tree, known for its wonderful colour configurations that start with the clusters of pink buds and small white petals that eventually open into tiny pale pink flowers in spring. The young leaves hold an attractive bronze tone that fades into a deeper green as the leaves mature and by August the flowers will have ripened into edible berries; a favourite for humans and birds alike.

The Robin Hill is tough multi stemmed tree that will thrive in natural to acidic soil and take up little of your time as a minimal amount of pruning will still result in an attractive and compact multi stemmed habit. In a sunny site you can expect the tree to reach around 9 or 10 metres in height.
