Our RHS Amelanchier canadensis commonly known as Snowy Mespilus or June Berry is a deciduous large shrub or small tree with oblong leaves. Produces white starry flowers in April and black fruits later in Autumn along with rich Autumn foliage.
Prefers moist, peaty soil and is ideal for a bog garden or low maintenance hedging/screening when planted in groups.
