Acer Palmatum `Winter Flame` is a small, rounded, deciduous tree with bright red stems in winter and deeply lobed leaves emerging bright green in spring, turning yellow-green in summer and yellow, orange and red in autumn. Small, green flowers in late spring are followed by green fruit (samaras) in summer.
