Benefits
• The Acer campestre is a fast growing native deciduous tree • Flower: Yellow. Insignificant or absent in Spring • Foliage: Orange, Red in Autumn • Fruit: Green, Brown in Autumn • Ultimate Height: 80ft (24m) • Average growth/Year*: 1-2ft (20-60cm)
*Average Growth/Year* = Average growth per year in first 10-20 years
As a very rough guide, 1cm of girth, measured 1m above the ground, generally equals 1ft in height until the tree is 20ft high. Please note that this varies by individual tree and by every tree type.
